 Innocent Ujah Idibia popualrly known as 2baba, is a Nigerian singer, song writer and entrepreneur born on 18th September, 1975 in Jos, Plateau State.

Early Life & Background

Tuface Idibia was brn in Jos to Mr and Mrs Idibia, has two brothers, Hyacinth and Charles.

He attended Mount Saint Gabriel’s secondary school in Markudi, Benue state. He enrolled at institute of management and technology, Enugu (IMT), where he didd his preliminary  National Diploma course in Business Adminsitration and management. He eventually dropped out to pursue his career in music.

Music Career

His music career could be traced back to when he was at IMT where he organises shows and parties. Then , he composes and sings singles at the GB fan club at Enugu state Broadcasting services (ESBS) in 1996.

So in 1996, he started by adopting the stage name 2face (Tuface) where he aid the reason for the name was to differentiate is personla life from his business life.

He moved to Lagos and started performing with rapper Blackface naija whom he met while he was at IMT.


So with Blackface (Ahnnedu Augustine Obiabo) and music counterpart, Faze (Chibuzor Orji), they formed a trio band called “Plantashun Boiz”.

Plantashun Boiz released two albums; Body and Soul and Sold out before they finally went their sepearte ways in 2004 with each other starting a solo career.

Although the band came back in 2007 and released their third album titled “Plan B” but that only lasted for the moment.

Tuface signed with Kennis Music where he released an album Face 2 Face which contain one of the hit song “African queen” that brought him to limelight across the globe. The song was also used as the soundtrack of the film “Phat Girlz”.

He also released another album “Grass 2 Grace” which contains hit songs like “One Love”, “4 Instance”, “No Shaking” and so on.

The singer left Kennis music and floated his own record label, Hypertek Entertainment which had the likes of Dammy Krane.

Personal Life & Marriage
Tuface personal life is something worth mentioning from escaping death from gunshots to heated contorversies about his releationshi with the ladies.

The talented singer has seven children from three different.

He has two sons; Zion and Nina from Sunbo Ajbawho, three kids with America based make-up artist, Pero Adeniyi and two children, Isabello and Olivia with his third baby mama and now wife, Annie Macaulay.

He dated Annie for 12years, proposed to her on valentine’s day at Jay Jay Okocha club and got married to her in a lavish ceremony in Dubai.
