Patrick Chukuemeka Okogwu (born November 7, 1988) professionally known as Tinie Tempah, is an award winning British rapper, Television presenter and entrepreneur. He came to prominence for his hit single “Wifey”. He also has three albums to his credit; Disc-Overy, Demonstration and Youth. He unveiled his Independent record label, Disturbing London in 2006, alongside his cousin, Dumo Oburota.

Tinie Tempah was born on November 7, 1988 in London, England to an Igbo parents from Nigeria. He grew up with his parents alongside his three other siings; Kelly, Kelvin and Marian, where they lived in Aylesbury Estate in South-east London before the family moved to Plumstead, London.
He went to St Paul’s Catholic School and sat for A-Levels in Media, Psychology and Religious Studies at Saint Francis Xavier Sixth Form College.
Tinie Tempah began doing music professionally in 2005 where he released his first mixtape, “Chapter 1: Verse 22”, via Aftershock records.
He became known for his single “Tears” with more exposure in the music industry with the song “Wifey”.
Tinie alongside his cousin, Dumi Oburota founded the independent label, Disturbing London, in 2006. The label also produced a clothing range that Tinie often wear and promote.
Tinie came through with his first single “Pass Out” via Parlophone records in February 2010. He followed up with the second single “Frisky” in June 2010. He released another single “Written In The Stars” in September 2010.
Tempah released his fourth single “Miami 2 Ibiza”, a collaboration with Swedish House Mafia, in October 2010. He also featured Kelly Rowland on his fifth single “Invincible”, as released on December 25, 2010.
He released his first album, Disc-Overy in 2010. His second album, Demonstration was released in 2013 and the third album, Youth, was released in 2017.
He also dropped the track “Love Me Like This” featuring vocalist Maia Wright, in September 2021. The song did not record a major success in the UK.
He has toured with the likes of Rihanna and Usher and also performed on stage at Glastonbury with the US rapper, Snoop Dogg.
Tempah has worked with the likes Travis Barker, Zara Larsson, Labrinth, Kideko, Eric Turner, Becky G and many others.
Aside music, Tinie Tempah is also into fashion as he was named best dressed man in GQ’s Men of the Year Awards, in 2012 and also unveiled as the new men ambassador for London Menswear Collections, while replacing Nick Grimshaw.
Tinie launched his fashion label, What We Wear in 2017, at London Fashion Week.

Tinie got married to Eve De Haan, a London artist, in a private wedding ceremony in a small Church in the Cotswoldson, on July 4, 2019. Their union produced two children, as they gave birth to their first daughter in 2018 and the second child ( a baby girl) in 2021.
His wife, Eve De Haan, is the daughter of Sir Roher De Haan, former owner of Saga Plc and Marie Lyvie Goder.
