Tekno whose real name is Augustine Miles Kelechi is an award winning Nigerian singer, songwriter and producer born on December 17, 1992.
He was born in Bauchi state into the family of five boys and a girl but originally hails from Ebonyi state.
Tekno who is known with other names like Alhaji Tekno, Golden Boy Of Africa, Slim Daddy, grew up in several parts of the country inclcuding Nasarawa, Kaduna and Abuja due to the fact his father was an Army.
Tekno started doing music at a tender age of 8 where he enrolled in music school and mastered playing of Piano and Guitar.
He was first signed under K-Money entertainment where he released his first single “Holiday” while enlisting the vocals of Davido.
Tekno got signed to Made Men Music group on October 5, 2013 when he met with the triple MG CEO Ubi Franklin and Iyanya at an event in Abuja. He was advised to move to Lagos from Abuja and started releasing singles such as Dance, Anything and so on.
Tekno rose to fame with the release of the single “Pana” which was followed up immediately with a top charting song “Duro” as produced by DJ Coublon.
He ever since he came to limelight, he has never looked back, churning out hits back to back from Wash, Rara, Yawa, to “Go” and of course the recent one Jogodo which is still enjoying massive airplay across the globe.

Tekno was said to be in a relationship with the songstress, Lola Rae but the duo son parted ways due to irreconcilable differences.

Tekno is one of the Nigerian artiste with many endorsement deals. He signed a deal with MTN worth 18 million naira and also an international deal with Sony music worth $4 million dollars.
