Early Life
Sphelele was born on September 29 in the 1990s in Empangeni, Kwazulu-Natal, South Africa.
She grew up with her grandmother in Enyoni township. Her father’s name is Thembelihle Nzuza and her mother, Zenzele Mzimela, who is a successful chartered accountant.
She also has two younger sisters named Xabiso Mzimela and Snothile.
Mzimela had her primary and secondary school education in Kwazulu-Natal.
She also obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in television production from the renown AFDA Academy (The South African School of Motion Picture medium and live performance) and then got her National Diploma in Drama from Durban University of Technology.
