Early Life

Natasha Thahane was born on September 25,1995 in Cape Town, South Africa.

She is the grand-daughter of Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu,the very popular anti- apartheid activist. Her father’s name is Trevor Thamsanqa Tutu and her mother is Nomaswazi Mamakoko. She is the first born in a family of three children. She has two siblings, a younger brother, Sthembiso ‘SK’Khoza and a younger sister named Molemo Thahane.

Her family moved from Cape Town to Johannesburg, South Africa where she concluded her Secondary education at Milnerton High School in Cape Town. She obtained a degree in Accounting from Wits University. She is also a graduate of New York Film Academy (NYFA). after she started acting professionally so her acting skills comes naturally

Career

Natasha Thahane started out as a model in 2019. She is the face of Garnier, a well known international cosmetics brand.

As an actress, her first appearance was in eKasi: Our Stories in 2014.

She gained exposure for her role as Wendy Dlamini in the drama series Blood and Water.

Through her incredible performance in short Television roles, she became the lead character in ‘The Queen’. She also starred in the hit ‘Black Entertainment Television'(BET) telenovela, Isono.
