Sophie Turner was born on February 21, 1996, in Northampton, England to parents Sally Turner, Diana, Andrew Turner. Her mother, Sally, is a nursery school teacher and her father Andrew, works for a pallet distribution company.

Sophie Turner made her acting debut with a role as Sansa Stark on the HBO epic fantasy television series Game of Thrones, appearing alongside Maisie Williams while featuring in all eight broadcast seasons.
She became known for her role in the thriller film Another Me in 2013. The same year, she starred as Andeline March in the television film The Thirteenth Tale, and also featured in the comedy film Barely Lethal alongside Hailee Steinfield.
