Shenseea was born on October 1 in Kingston, Jamaica.

She originally hails from Cornwall county.

She is of mixed ethnicity, of Korean and Jamaican descent.

She had revealed that her father who is Asian had left her mother when she was six months pregnant

Career

Shenseea came to limelight after her remix to Vybz Kartel’s song “Loodi”. Both Shenseea and Vybz Kartel released another collaboration “Secret (remix)” in 2018.

She already toured internationally and boast of numerous corporate sponsorship deals with top compnaies such as; Telecom, Firm Flow, Boom and so on.

She collaborated with Sean Paul on the single “Rolling” in 2017. She got featured on Christina Aguilera’s single “Right moves”, a song on her 2018 album “Liberation”.

She got signed with Interscope records in 2019 and released a dancehall track “Blessed” featuring Tyga.

However, she teamed up with the Jamaican record producer, Rvssian in January 2020, where she released the single “IDKW” featuring American rappers, Swae Lee and Young Thug.
