Rachel Agatha Keen popularly known with the stage name as Raye, is a British singer and songwriter born on October 24, 1997.

She grew up in Croydon where she studied at Woodcote High School and had attended the BRIT School for two years before dropping out.
She was raised in a musical family. Her English father leads worship while her mother, a Ghanaian-Swiss heritage snag in the choir.
Raye started her doing music at the age 10 when she was in the church choir.
She released her debut EP “Welcome to Winter” as inspired by Drake and Jhene Aiko, on December 11, 2014.
The EP was followed up with a debut single “Flowers” on February 7, 2015 and another single ‘Alien” released on April 28, 2015.
Raye hot her breakthrough in 2016 after releasing her second EP. The lead single off the EP, “I U, US”, was released on October 14, 2016.
She also worked with the likes Jonas Blue, Jax Jones and so on on different collaborative singles.
Raye released her joint single “Cigarette” alongside Mabel and Stefflon Don on February 22, 2018. The song had received massive airplay while it also peaked at number 41 on the UK chart.
Raye had worked with Odunsi on the song “Tipsy” in April 2019 and in May of the same year, she collaborated with David Guetta on “Stay (Don’t go away)”.
