Phumeza mdabe ( born March 15, 1987) is a South African Singer , actress and media personality. She came to prominence as a presenter of the television show, Our “Perfect Wedding”. She is also well known for role in the TV series “Sokhulu & Partners”.

Early life
Phumeza was born on March 15, 1987 in Gauteng, Johannesburg, South Africa. She was raised by her mother and stepfather.
She also has three siblings and her mother passed away in 2002, when she was in grade 10.
She had both her primary and secondary school education in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Career
Phumeza began as an actress in 2006 and came to limelight for her role as “Phumi” in the series “Sokhulu & Partners”. Ever since she rose to fame, she has appeared in numerous televison shows and series.
As a media personality, she co-hosted the South African game show “Cula sibone”, in 2013 and in 2014, she became the host of the show ” Our Perfect Wedding”, while replacing Brenda Ngxoli.
As a singer, she got signed with the music label “Shota Music” which has been accompanied with the release of several albums such as; Just Listen and Hello Happiness. She release a song alongside her husband titled “Jabulisa”, in 2019.

Phumeza Mdabe is married to Mnqobi ‘Shota’ Mdabe and their union is blessed with four kids. The actress son, Mpilo, was diagnosed with bilateral retinoblastoma when he was 16 months old. His eyeballas had to be removed to keep the cancer from spreading.
