Early Life & Career
Peter Osaze Odemwingie who was born to a Nigerian father and Russian mother relocated to his homeland when he was just two years old before going back to Russia to complete his secondary education.
The talented player who had passion for football while growing up in Russia started his professional career in 1994 where he played in the youth team of Kamza and CSKA Moscow.
On returning back to the country, he played briefly at AS Racines, Lagos before joining the Nigerian premier league side, Bendel Insurance.

He later moved to the Belgian side, La Louviere where he spent three seasons before also mobing to the French side, Lille.
He also played for Lokomotiv Moscow before leaving for the English side West Bromwich Albion in August 2010. During his stay there, he scored 30 premier league goals which earned him three premier league player of the month awards.
Osaze played for Cardiff city where spent he six months before
joining Stole City in a player exchange with Kenwyne Jones in 2014.

On October 24, 2016, Odemwingie signed a short term contract with
Rotherham United becoming Kenny Jackett’s first signing for the club
also joined the Indonesian Ligue 1 side Madura United as a Marquee
player on 3rd April 2017.
