Early Life & Background
OC Ukeje was born on July 15, 1981 in Lagos state part of Nigeria.
He is the second child in a family of three children and attended Federal government College Ijanikin, Lagos for his secondary education.
He obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Theatre Arts at the University of Lagos.
Ukeje who currently resides in Lagos, got married to his hearthrob, Senami Ibukunoluwa Togenu-Bickersteth on November 8, 2014.
He started out at the first year in University of lagos taking lead role in stage performances.
He began professionally in 2008 where he featured in the movie “White Waters” starring alongside veteran actress, Joke Silva and Rita Dominic as directed by Izu Ojukwu.
Earlier in 2007, he acted as the lead character in the television series “Wetin Dey” produced by BBC World Service Trust and presented at the International Emmy World Television Festival.
He also featured in a blockbuster movie “Black November” in 2012 produced by Jeta Amata starring Hollywood celebrities like Mickey Rourke, Kim Basinger, Sarah Wayne-Callies, Hakeem Kae-Kazim and Vivica Fox.
In 2013, he also featured in a popular movie “Half of a Yellow Sun featuring the likes of Chiwetel Ejiofor and Thandie Newton as directed by Bandele.
The movie was gotten out from Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie novel “Half oF A Yellow Sun”.
Ukeje also acted in the BFI sponsored movie “Gone Too Far”. In 2014 he got a role in the second season of the television series Gidi Up and in 2015, he was listed as one of the highest box office grosser of 2014 by Nigerian Cinema Exhibition Coalition.
As one of the prominent act in the Nigerian movie industry, his net worth is estimated at $5 million USD.
