Early Life & Background
Mzbel was born on December 26, 1979 to parents; Albert A. Amoah, an engineer and Agnes Myarko.
She is the last of seven female children.
She was raised in James Town alongside her other siblings.
She went to God Wisdom preparatory Schools, and then to Korle Gonno 1 and then to Owusu Mills’ JHS at Maprobi for her Junior High School. She proceeded to Abuakwa State College for her secondary education.
She studied General Arts where she majored in Economics, Geography and French.
She also attended the Ghana Institute of Languages and had trained to become a bilingual Secretary.
Mzbel started her career in the media where she worked with GBC Radio 1.
She has also worked with other media outlets such as Groove FM and Metro TV before she began to focus more on music.
