She emerged fourth place in the third edition of ABC’s Dancing With the stars and also launched her online talk show, Gimme Mo, in 2010.

Monique Coleman was born on November 13, 1980 in Orangeburg, South Carolina, United States.

She attended Heathwood Hall Episcopal School and obtained her BFA in Acting at The Theater School at DePaul University in Chicago.

Career

Coleman began acting at a very tender age while also training at the workshop theater School of dramatic arts.

She got her first lead role in the independent feature, Mother of the River and followed up with a role in the family channel movie The Ditch Diggers Daughters.

She played Leesha in the 2005 Hallmark TV movie The Reading Room where she worked alongside the legendary James Earl Jones.

Coleman came to limelight in 2006 for her role of Taylor Mckessie in the High School Musical alongside Vanessa Hudgens.

She was also a recurring guest star in Tge Suite Life of Zack & Cody episodes, Forever Plaid, Not So Suite 16, and A Prom Story.

She has also made other television guest appearances such as; Strong Medicine, Married to the Kellys, Veronica Mars and Boston Public.

Coleman also competed in the third edition of ABC’s Dancing With the Stars reality dance competition where she emerged fourth place.
