Manolo Cardona (born Manuel Julian Cardona on April 25, 1977) is an award winning Colombian actor. He came to prominence for his role as Juan ‘Diablo’ Cantor in the television series “¿Por que Diablos?”. He is also known for roles in other television series such as; Carolina barrantes, Padres es hijos and Ladron de corazones.

Early Life
Manolo Cardona was born on April 25, 1977 in Popayan, Colombia. His father Javier Enrique Cardona is into politics while his mother Nancy Molano is a psychologist, merchant and astrologer.
He has four brothers of which the elder, Francisco, is an agent and engineer while the younger, Juan Jose studied film direction in the University of Catalonia in Barcelona, Spain.
Cardona moved to Cali, Colombia to finish his studies where he majored in finances and international relations.
Career
Cardona started his career as a model after being introduced to a modeling agency by his elder brother.
He came through professionally as a model at the age of 14 where he shot his first television commercial and also graced runways for numerous agencies in Colombia.
He began acting in 1995 with a role in the Colombian television series, Padres es Hijos.
He got his first lead role in the television soap opera, Carolina Barrantes in 1998 and came to limelight for his role in the soap opera ¿Por que Diablos?.
He starred in his first Mexican soap opera, Ladron de Corazones, in 2003 where he played the role Gustavo Velazco and later played the role of Senastian in the Mexican telenovela, Gitanas.
He made his big screen debut in 2005 with the film, Rosario Tijeras as released in Colombia.
He played the lead role as Santiago in Undertow, in November 2008.
He appeared in the third season of Spain’s version of Sin tetas no hay paraiso.
He also produced and directed the short film, Risas Inocentes alongside his brother Juan.
He also starred as the main character Alex Guzman in the Netflix “Who killed Sarah?”.
