Early Life & Background
Kadaria Ahmed was born on December 11, 1967 in Kaduna State. She grew up with her mother Hafsat abdulwaheed and also has a sister named Zainab Ahmed.
She obtained a bachelors degree from Bayero University, Kano and a masters degree in Television from Golsmiths, University of London.
Career
She began her career as a senior producer at BBC in London where she worked on programs such as Focus on Africa and Network Africa. She moved back to Nigeria and became the Editor of the Now defunct NEXT Newspaper.
She host her own shows “The Core and Straight talk” on Channels TV and also unveiled her own media company, Daria Media.
She was the co-founder and media consultant, Blue Communications EMEA, and the Head, Corporate Communications, Shoreline Energy International.
She was the head, Corporate Communications, Resort Group Limited and Associate director, Africa Practice R & B. She also became a member of Nigerian Guild of Editors.
