Karrueche Minters (born May 17, 1988) popularly known as Karrueche Tran, is an award winning American actress, model, movie producer and media personality. She came to prominence for her role as Vivian Johnson in the web series The Bay. She is also known as Virginia Loc on the TNT series Claws.
For her effort, she won the outstanding performance by a lead actress at the 2021 Datime Emmy Awards. She also became known for her relationship with the American singer, Chris Brown.

Early Life
Karrueche Tran was born on May 17, 1988 in California, United States to parents, Cindy Anderson, DeVon Minters. She is of mixed ethnicity as her father is a Jamaican American while her mother is from Vietnam.
She went to Fairfax High School for her high school education of which she completed at Birmingham High School.
Career
Prior to fame, Tran was a personal shopper in the fashion industry. She worked as a freelance celebrity stylist in Hollywood.
Tran was first known in the media space in 2011, for her relationship with the R&B singer, Chris Brown.
She modeled for several brands where she became the face of Lady Crooks and also unveiled her own clothing line.
She came to limelight for her role as Vivian Johnson in the web series, The Bay from 2013 to 2016. She appeared in the volume one of the photography book, Love West Coast Girls by celebrity photographer, Mike Miller.
She hosted the BET awards red carpet and also co-hosted the BET show 106 & Park.
She featured in the film, 3-Headed Shark Attack. She had supporting roles in the film, In a Weekend with the Family and The Nice Guys. She also got a lead role as Chloe in Only for One Night, in 2016.
She started co-starring in the TV series, TNT’s Claws in 2017, after her departure from The Bay. She got a recurring role as Genevieve in Fox’s Deputy, in 2019 and returned to The Bay in 2020 for its sixth season.
She has graced the cover of several magazines such as; Bleu Magazine, Ouch Magazine, Rolling Out, Flaunt magazine, Cliche, The Hundreds, Annex Magazine and so on.

Personal Life
Tran was in a relationship wit the American singer, Chris Brown in 2011. The two parted ways after Chris Brown mended his ways with his ex-girlfriend, Rihanna of which they finally split and then Brown and Tran came back together again.
Tran ended her relationship with the singer after finding out that he has a daughter named Royalty Brown with Nia Guzman.
However, Tran dated the former football player, Victor Cruz from 2017 to 2021. She has also dated the likes Memphis Depay, Johm Wall and Quavo.
