Junior Pope Odowondo is a multiple award winning Nigerian actor and television personality born on May 7, 1984.
Junior Pope was born and raised in Bamenda, Cameroon where he had both his primary and secondary education but originally hails from Ukehe tribe of Enugu State.
He obtained a bachelors degree in Accounting at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka in Enugu State.
Career
Junior Pope joined the Nigerian movie industry in 2006 while attending movie auditions and taking up minor roles in movies.
He came to limelight in 2007 for lead role in the movie “Secret Adventures” as directed by Tchidi Chikere.
Pope has starred in more 100 movies which include: Bitter Generation, The Cat, The Generals, Wrong Initiation, Nkwocha, Secret Adventures, Wrong Initiation and so on.
He has worked with the likes of Jerry Amilo, Ernest Asuzu, Sylvester Madu, Emma Ehumadu, Gentle Jack and many others.
Personal Life
Junior Pope got married to his wife, Jennifer Awele on July 26, 2014 and their union is blessed with two sons.
