Jude Bellingham is an English professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for the German club side, Borussia Dortmund and for the national team of England.
He started with Birmingham City and became their youngest ever first-team player after making his senior debut in August 2019 at the age of 16. He crossed over to Borussia Dortmund in July 2020 and also became their youngest ever goal scorer in his first competitive match.
Bellingham’s attractive playing style had earned him a second runner up in the 2021 Kopa Trophy won by Pedri.

Early Life
Jude Bellingham was born Jude William Victor Bellingham on June 29, 2003 in Stourbridge, England.
He was born as the eldest son to his parents, Denise and Mark Bellingham. His father Mark, works as a sergeant in the West Midlands Police and also has a younger brother named Jobe Bellingham who is part of Bellingham F.C’s academy. Bellingham went to Priory School in Edgbason, Birmingham.
Career
Bellingham started playing football professionally after joining Birmingham City as an under-8. At the age of 14, he played for the club under 18 team and proceeded to the under-23 at the age of 15.
He was introduced into Birmingham City first team and started the EFL Cup first round in a match with Portsmouth and hence became Birmingham City’s youngest ever first team player at the age of 16. He made his first league appearance in a 3-0 defeat to Swansea City where he came on as a substitute and on August 2019, he replaced Jefferson Montero in a match with Stoke City where he scored the winner.
Bellingham continued to be involved in Birmingham City’s starting eleven while also improving as a regular starter. He was placed on the left wing before being moved to the central midfield and later used in more advanced role with more responsibility to shoulder as he already gained more confidence on the field of play. For his performance, he was awarded EFL Young Player of the month for November 2019.
Bellingham was confirmed as a another signing for the Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund on July 20, 2020. He became an addition to the club who already has lots of young and performing players like Jadon Sanch (who later joined Manchester United) and Erling Haaland. He was said to have joined for an undisclosed fee which according to Sky Sports was believed to be an initial fee of £25 million.
Bellingham made his debut for Dortmund in the 2020-21 season in a match against third-tier MSV Duisburg in the DFB- Pokal where he scored the second goal in a 5-0 win while becoming the club’s youngest goalscorer in the DFB-Pokal.
He played his first match in the league where he recorded an assist in a 3-0 win over Borussia Monchengladbach and was named Bundesliga Rookie of the month for September.
He became the youngest English player to start a Champions league match as Birmingham played against Lazio in the group stage on October 20. He became a regular across all competitions in the first three months of the season with six starts and seven substitute appearances in the Bundesliga as well as four champions league starts. Although, he missed the first two matches of 2021 as a result of foot injury but returned later as a regular starter.
Bellingham scored his first Bundesliga goal in a 3-2 win against VfB Stuttgart.
On the international level, Bellingham played for England Under-15 and Under-16 and eventually included in the England Under-17 squad for the Syrenka Cup, a friendly tournament held in September 2019 in preparation for the 2020 European Championship qualifiers and was called uo for the Under-21 squad for European Championship qualifiers against Kosovo anf Austria in September 2020.
Bellingham was called up to the England senior team for the first time in November 2020 and made his debut in a friendly match against the Republic of Ireland on November 12.
He was included in the England squad for the UEFA Euro 2020 which was delayed till June 2021 as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic. He came on as a substitute in their opening match against Croatia which ended 1-0 in favour of England.

Bellingham won the goal of the season in 2018 at Birmingham City’s Under 15-16.
He was named as Syrenka Cup Player of the tournament in 2019 and EFL Young Player of the Month in November 2019.
