Born Gleison Bremer Silva Nascimento on March 18, 1997 in Itapitanga, Brazil. His name Bremer was chosen by his father in honour of the German footballer Andreas Brehme.
Career
Gleison Bremer began his career at the youth level with Desportivo Brazil in 2014 and went through the youth ranks of Sao Paulo (on loan) and Athletico Mineiro.
He made his senior debut for Athletico Mineiro in a 1-0 away victory against Chapecoense.
He signed a five-year contract with Torino on July 10, 2018 and made his debut in the Coppa Italia against Cosenza on August 12. He made his debut in the Seria A in a 1-0 lost to Roma on August 19, where he came on as a substitute for Izzo.
He joined Juventus on a five-year deal on July 20, 2022 and made his debut in a 3-0 victory against Sassuolo on August 15. He scored his first goal for the club in a 2-2 draw to Salernitana on September 11.
At the international scene, he was called up to the Brazilian national team for friendly matches against Ghana and Tunisia on September 9, 2022. He made his debut in a 3-0 win against Ghana on September 23. He was also included in the squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
