Early Life
Gbenro Ajibade was born Gbenro Emmanuel Ajibade on December 8, 1985, in Maiduguri, Borno State, Nigeria. He has four siblings, and lost his elder brother Jude Ige Ajibade to kidney disease.
He went to Markudi International School and Mount Saint Gabriel’s Secondary School for his high school education. He oalso obtained a degree in Biology from Benue State University.
Career
Ajibade started his career as a model where he began to appear in top magazines, fashion shows and various TV commercials. He modeled for maze couture at the Africa New York Fashion Week in 2013, Mai Atafo’s model at the Native and Vogue International Fashion Week in 2013, Model at Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week in 2014, Runway Dubai Fashion Show Model in 2019, and model for Yomi Casual at the Atalanta Fashion Designers Fashion Show in 2019.
He delved into acting and became known for his role in the television series Tinsel.
He also featured in the movie Bachelor’s Eve alongside Kehinde Bankole, Wole Ojo, Kehinde Olorunyomi, and Jumoke Odetola.
