Fermin Lopez Marin was born on May 11, 2003 in El Campillo, Spain.
Career
Fermin began his football career at the youth level with El Campillo in 2011 and went through the youth ranks of Recreativo, Betis and Barcelona.
He signed a professional contract with Barca Athletic for two years on August 19, 2022. He went on loan to Linares Deportivo and made his senior debut nine days later, in a 2-0 win over Merida AD.
After his loan spell at Deportivo, he started training with Barcelona and was called up to the senior preseason squad. He made an impact in the 3-0 win against Real Madrid in a friendly match where he scored a goal and an assist.
He was eventually called up to the senior team by Xavi after impressed the coach with his skills. He made his La liga debut in a 4-3 win against Villareal on August 27, 2023. He made his Champions league debut in a 5-0 win over Royal Antwerp where he came on as a substitute for Gavi at the 58th minute.
