Dunsin Oyekan (born November 5, 1984) popularly known as The Eagle, is a Nigerian gospel singer, and producer. He is also an instrumentalist and producer who plays the Keyboard, drum and Piano. Dunsin is the convener and founder of the Code Red Worship Concert.

Early Life

Dunsin Oyekan was born on November 5, 1984 in Ilorin, Kwara state part of Nigeria. He is the only son of the Gbadebo Oyekan’s family.

He went to Air-force Nursery and Primary School, Ilorin and Federal Government College, Ilorin for his primary and secondary education respectively.

He completed his secondary education at the Baptist Model, High School, Ilorin and proceeded to University of Ilorin, Kwara State where he majored in Industrial Chemistry.

Career

Dunsin Oyekan started having passion for music at a very tender age. He began to play the guitar at the age of 10.

He was able to develop himself with influence from Dr Pastor Paul Enenche, the Senior pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Center Worldwide.

He was once a music director of the award winning choir, Avalanche of the Common Wealth of Zion Assembly (COZA).

He came through with his 14 track debut album, Code Red, in 2016. Ever since he came to prominence, he has released over 25 songs which include the very hit single “Na You” alongside the American gospel singer, Kim Burrel. He has been on stage with other popular singers such as; Freke Umoh, Byron Cage, William Murphy, Kurt Carr, Tasha Cobbs, Frank Edwards and so on.

Dunsin is the convener and founder of the Code Red Worship Concert and the Healing Room Worship Event.
