Lebogang Naves (born July 27, 1984) well known as DJ Naves is a highly recognized South African Disc Jockey and record producer. He came to prominence for anchoring Afternoon drive time radio show on Metro FM alongside DJ Sphectaular. As “One half of the King of the Weekends”, he also became a resident DJ for Gagasi FM.

Early Life
DJ Naves was born on July 27, 1984 and grew up in Soweto, South Africa, where he had his basic and secondary school education. He went on to obtain a degree in Sound Engineering for his love and passion for hip-hop.
Career
DJ Naves began his career with collaboration with T’Bo Touch on his Ryhme and Reason hip hop show on Saturday evenings which he later went on to produce.
He was able to showcase his talent in South African night clubs before slowly gaining popularity across the country.
DJ Naves and his partner, DJ Sphectacula became the host of the South African radio show titled the Ore-Party on Metro FM and together they released the album, Kings of the Weekend.
They also collaborated on the album titled “SPEctacular and Dj Naves – 10 years and counting”. The duo also won “Couple of the year” at Feather Awards.
He has made guest appearances on several South African television shows which include the likes of Taxi Ride where he portrayed the role of Mr. Malindi and as DJ in the second season of Isibaya.
He also appeared as a judge in the four seasons of the reality competition show and he is one of the judges in the South African reality competition show 1’s and 2’s.
Aside the Disc Jockey profession, DJ Naves seems to have added another profession to his resume which is that he is a professional tailor. Although, some thought he was a medical doctor after he posted a picture of him with a Stethoscope.
