She is of mixed race, born to a Nigerian mother and a Sierra Leonian/Lebanese father who is also a one time deputy minister of Sierra Leone.
Di’ja is a multi-linguist as she speaks the Hausa language fluently with her mother being from the Northern part of Nigeria and Krio language, a Sierra Leonian local dialect.
Di’ja whose name is a combination of Hadiza and Khadijah, earned a double degree in Biology and Psychology.
