Capo Plaza was born Luca D’Orso on April 20, 1998, in Salerno, Italy. He grew up on the outskirts of the city, in the Pastena district. His mother is an accountant and his father works at the public housing office.
Career
Capo Plaza began writing songs at the age of 13. He has been able to develop his passion for music with influences from the likes Jay-z and Lil Wayne. He came through with the release of his single I’m down via YouTube.
He released his first album Sulamente nuje, in 2016, alongside rapper Peppe Soks. He later signed to Sto Records, a record label owned by Ghali, and became known for his single “Workout”. He followed up with the release of the songs Young Champion and I Will Never Change.
He released his second album titled “20” in 2018. The album was a success, reaching the top of the FIMI Album Chart.
