McLaughlin was born and raised in Carmel, New York, U.S.
His parents are April McLauhlin and Corey McLaughlin.
His siblings include; Corey McLaughlin Jr., Caitlyn McLaughlin, Crystal McLaughlin.
He attended Kent Primary School and George Fischer Middle School.
He also studied dance for a year at Happy Feet Dance School in Carmel, New York and then at The Harlem School of the Arts under Aubrey Lynch, former Lion King producer.
He also has a height of 1.75 m.
Career
Caleb McLaughlin started his career when he appeared in an opera called Lost in the stars in Cooperstown, New York at the Glimmerglass Opera House.
He came to limelight for his role as Luclas Sinclair in the Netflix series Stranger Things.
He also played on the Broadway stage as Young Simba in the musical The Lion King.
McLaughlin has also appeared in other films and television series such as; High Flying Bird, Concrete Cowboys, Forever, Shades of Blue, The New Edition Story and many others.
