Early Life & Background
Berla was born on April 1, 1988 in Accra Ghana. She is from the Krobo tribe in Ghana.
She attended St. Theresa’s School, Achimota School, She obtained a degree in Linguistics and Psychology at the University of Ghana. She studied French at Alliance Francais and also studied at the Ghana Institute of Journalism.
Career
Berla started her career after she emerged second runner up at the 2010 Miss Malaika beauty pageant.
As a media personality, she has worked as a lead presenter with GHOne TV for 8 years before she joined TV3 Ghana where she host Ghana’s biggest TV Morning show.
She’s well known to as a host of several reality shows and corporate events including the Africa’s first syndicated show on DSTV, Moment with MO.
She’s also known as women’s advocate with a mission to create a world of possibilities for girls, while encouraging them to beleive in themselves in achieving their set goals.
