Early Life
Bella Hadid was born on October 9, 1996, in Washington D.C, United States to parents Yolanda Hadid, a Dutch former model, and Mohamed Hadid, a Palestinian Jordanian real estate developer. She has an older sister, Gigi, and younger brother Anwar, who are also models. She has two older paternal half-sisters; Mariella and Alana. She grew up with her siblings in Santa Babara, California before the family moved to Beverly Hills after ten years.
Bella graduated from Malibu High School in 2014 and moved to New York City to study photography at the Parsons School of Design. She later left the school to focus on her modeling career.

Bella Hadid began modeling at the age of 16 and appeared in modeling projects which include Lesa Amoore’s “The Swan Settings” and Holly Copeland’s “Smoking Hot”.
She came to prominence after being signed by IMG Models on August 21, 2014 and made her New York Fashion Week debut in September, walking for Desigual. She also made her first cover appearance on Jalouse Magazine in December of the same year.
She made her runway debut in February 2015, walking for Tom Ford’s Fall/Winter 2015 collection. She starred in Victoria’s Secret’s Pink Holiday campaign alongside models Rachel Hilbert and Devon Windsor, in August 2015. She walked for Tommy Hilfiger and Marc Jacobs at the New York Fashion Week in late 2015.
