Axel Disasi was born Axel Wilson Arthur Disasi Mhakinis Belho on March 11, 1998 in Gonesse, France. He is of Congolese and Angolan descent.
Career
Disasi began his career at the youth level with Villiers-le-Bel JS in 2006 before he moved to USM Senlis in 2013 and then to Paris FC youth academy in 2014.
He made his professional debut for Paris FC in a 1-0 loss to Lens on December 11, 2016. The same year, he moved to Reims.
He signed a five-year contract with Monaco for a transfer fee of €13 million on August 7, 2020. He play his first match for Monaco in a 2-2 draw against his former club Reims.
Disasi joined the English club Chelsea on a six-year contract for a fee of €45 million on August 4, 2023. He scored his first goal for Chelsea on his debut in a 1-1 draw with Liverpool at their opening campaign of the 2023-24 premier league season.
At the international level, Disasi was called up to the DR Congo U20s for the 2017Jeux de la Francophonie.
