Early Life
Anitta was born Larissa de Macedo Machado on March 30, 1993 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil as the youngest daughter of her parents Miriam Macedo and Mauro Macedo. She grew up with her two siblings Felipe Terra and Renan Machado.

Anitta started singing in the choir in the catholic church at the age of 8. She developed her passion with music influences from the likes of Katy Perry, Rihanna, Madonna, Mariah Carey, Beyonce and Shakira.
