Anifa Mvuemba was born on November 16, 1990 in Nairobi, Kenya to Congolese parents. Her family moved to the United States when was barely three years old. She currently resides in Maryland, U.S.
She took fashion design course during her junior year in high school and began working retail after she graduated.
