Early Life & Career

Angella was born on February 21, 1975 in Nairobi, Kenya to parents; H.E Prof Boney Katatumba (father), a honorary consul of Pakistan in Ugandan and her mother, Gertrude Katatumba, a proprietor AFK Beauty Clinic Kabalagala.

She has a sister and seven brothers namely; Rosemary, Allan, Dennis, Rugiirwa (Angella’s twin brother), Collin (late), Ken, Lan and Jay.

She attended Katatumba Academy and Belmont Senior Secondary school for her primary and secondary education. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts degrees in Economics and Law at Oxford Brookes University, England where she also obtained her Masters degree in Internationak Mnagement/Public Relations.

Angella had worked in Chicago, Illinois before she eventually returned to Uganda where she began to work as the Managing director at her father’s hotel known as Hotel Diplomate.

After her father’s death in 2017, Angella became the acting Honorary of Consul of Pakistan in Uganda for two years before another person was appointed by the President of Pakistan.

In her music career, Angella has released lots of exciting tracks from Let me, Emotional to Love Me. She also boast of three albums.
