She came to prominence for her recurring roles as Lucy Montgomery on the CBS soap opera As the World Turns and Joni Stafford on ABC soap All My Children. She got more exposure for her film debut in the teen comedy “Mean Girls”.

Early Life
Amanda Seyfried was born on December 3, 1985 in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Her father, Jack Seyfried is a pharmacist while her mother, Ann Seyfried is a therapist. She also has an older sister named Jennifer Seyfried who is a musician.
Amanda went to William Allen High School and also enrolled at Fordham University in 2003 but did not attend.
Career
Seyfried started her career as a model at the age of eleven before she delved into acting. She came through as an actress at the age of fifteen with recurring roles on the CBS soap opera “As the World turns” and ABC soap opera “All My Children”. She came to limelight in 2004 for her film debut “Mean Girls”.
She starred in the television series, Veronica Mars from 2004 to 2006 and Big Love from 2006 to 2011. She featured in movies such as; Nine Lives, Alpha Dog, Mamma mia!, Jennifer’s Body, Letters to Juliet and many others. In addition to her acting roles, she has occasionally done voice-over work in animation such as Epic and Scoob!.

Personal Life
Seyfried was in on and off relationship while dating Dominic Cooper from 2008 to 2009 and Justin Long from 2013 to 2015.
She began dating The Last Word co-star, Thomas Sadoski in early 2016 before they confirmed their engagement on September 12, 2016. They eventually got married in a private ceremony in March 2017. Their union is blessed with two children, a daughter and a son.
