Owumi Ugbeye is a fast rising Nigerian actress known for her role as Bikiya in the MTV Base series “Shuga”.
Owumi was born to an actress mother, Tosan Ugbeye.
She attended Pampers Private school, Queens College Lagos and RISS Maryland for her primary and secondary education respectively. She also obtained a degree in Foreign Language at the University of Benin, Nigeria.
Owumi started her acting career professionally in 2013 and has starred in a movie titled “Stolen Lives” where she played the role of Amarachi, a young and naive secondary school student who was raped by her friend’s lover at his birthday party. She became pregnant and was rejected by her parents.
