5 Must Watch Movies That Will Be Released Later In The Year

We are already in the second quarter of the year and it’s been one
blockbuster movies after the other. And more movies are about to be
released that will surely get you stuck to the edges of the seat all
through the remaining part of the year. Whether you’re into action, epic
or love dramas, check out these five movies when they are released and
have that amazing movie experience.

The Purge 3 – July 1

If you’ve been privileged to watch parts 1 and 2 of The Purge then
you’d know it’s a movie to look forward to. The Purge franchise
storyline is based on an imaginary future in which the American
government legalised everything including stealing and murder for a
period of 12 hours every single year. The movie is based on a novel and
it basically questions human nature and what we’d do if given unlimited
freedom. Producer of The Purge 3, Jason Blum says the movie will focus
on Part 1 of the movie while also focusing on self-styled
“Revolutionaries” who intend to end the tradition.

Ghostbusters – July 15

The truth is movie franchises can be boring as time goes by but we
doubt Ghostbusters will fall into that category. The previously released
parts were based on funny people fighting ghosts and this one won’t be
much different from the ones released in the past. With creative
writer-director Paul Feig in charge of the project and a star cast which
includes Leslie Jones, Kristen Wiig and Kate McKinnon, there’s a lot of
action and fun to look forward to.

Star Trek Beyond – July 22

This science fiction film will likely be back to its glory days with
Star Trek Beyond scheduled to be released on July 22. Movie director
J.J. Abrams-directed the reboot way back in 2009 and this year has Fast
& Furious director Justin Lin stepping into the director’s chair.
The story follows the destruction of the USS Enterprise which leaves
it’s crew stranded on a strange and unknown planet. The crew also have
to battle Krall- a crazy villain played by Idris Elba who is out to
destroy them all. If the movie trailer is anything to go by, fans and
moviegoers are in for the time of their lives when this movie hits the
cinemas.

Suicide Squad – August 5

Suicide Squad follows the story of Intelligence officer Amanda Waller
(Viola Davis) who assembles a team of dangerous, incarcerated
supervillains for a covert mission. Warner Bros productions is finally
out to take their own share of money made from superhero movies from
Marvel with this comic inspired film. With some of the best actors from
Hollywood taking up roles in the movie, Director- David Ayer will be
bringing out the best from DC Comics rogues including the Assassin
Deadshot played by Will Smith, Joker reprised by Jared Leto and Margot
Robbie as Harley Quinn. The movie is scheduled to be released in august
and will likely be the last comic inspired movie of the year. With over
seven comic inspired film already released this year, suicide Squad
should hopefully live up to the whole comic hype.

Underworld 5 – October 14

Underworld: Blood Wars is an upcoming 2016 American action horror film
directed by Anna Foerster and written by Cory Goodman. It is the fifth
installment in the Underworld film series and the sequel to 2012 film
Underworld: Awakening, with Kate Beckinsale reprising her role as
Selene. The story revolves around vampires, werewolves, and Kate
Beckinsale in skintight leather. The good thing about the franchise is
that it has raked in $450 million in total from the box office and the
fifth part scheduled to be released in October will most definitely
increase that amount. The vampire Selene is expected to go up against a
new villain played by Merlin vet Bradley James. The fifth part is
expected to lead on to a sixth chapter and a television series.
