Vimbai Mutinhiri is a Zimbabwean actress, model and television personality born on February 18, 1987.
Miss Vimbai is the youngest of four children born to her parents; Ambrose Mutinhiri (father) and Tracy Mutinhiri (mother), who are both Zimbabwean cabinet ministers. She lost her elder sister Belinda to a car crash in 2014.
She was born in Harare, Zimbabwe but grew up in Belgrade, Serbia and Johannesburg, South Africa.
Vimbai attended St Edwards school, Oxford and Arundel school in Harare. She obtained a Bachelor’s degree in politics, philosophy and economics from the University of Cape town, South Africa.
Vimbai started her career as an actres at the age of 15 where she first featured in a short film titled “Who’s in charge”. She also palyed the lead role in Zimbabwe first soap opera “Studio 263”.
Vimbai was a contestant at the Big brother Africa season 6 in 2011 which she finished 16th. After big brother, she went on to host the first ever Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards alongside Osas and IK Osakioduwa. We can say that Miss Vimbai has achived a greater height in the industry where she was chosen as the new presenter for the entertainment and lifestyle show “Star Gist” alongside the 28 year old South African, Lawrence Maleka.
Vimbai Mutinhiri is not married. She’s in a relationship with Nigeria boyfriend, Andrew ‘Dru’ Ekpenyong, the second son to the chairman of the Davandy group, Chief Asuquo Ekpeyong
