Siya Kolisi is a popular South African Rugby player and entrepreneur born on June 16, 1991. He plays as a flanker for the South African national team and also plays for club rugby for the Sharks in Super Rugby and Western Province in the Currie Cup. Early Life
Kolisi was born on June 16, 1991 in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. He was born to parents; Fezakele (father) and Phakama (mother). His mother had died when he was barely 15. He is from a poor background, so he had to strive by himself to reach the top.
He attended Emsengeni Primary School and Grey High School. He had joined the African Bombers Rugby Club, a local team which had shaped him for the career ahead.
Career
He started his rugby career at a tender age of 12 but came through professionally at the age of 16.
He made his senior debut for the Western Province in 2011 whe he had 30 appearances. He graduated to the Stormers in 2012 and had up to 115 appearances before he joined the Sharks in 2021.
Personal Life
Kolisi got married to Rachel Smith in 2016 and their union is blessed with two children; a son, Nicholas Siyamthanda and a daughter, Keziah.
