Olusola Allyson Obaniyi (born September 24 in 1970s) who is well known as Sola Allyson or Shola Allyson is a Nigerian gospel singer, songwriter, voice coach and consultant. She came to prominence in 2003 for her album “Eji Ewuro”. She has recorded other hit songs such as; Aseye, Isinmi and many others.

Shola Allyson was born on September 24 in the early 1970s in Ikorodu part of Lagos State, Nigeria.
She attended Anglican primary school, Ikorodu and Shams-el-deem Grammar School, Ikorodu for her primary and secondary education respectively. She also studied Business studies at the Government Technical College, Ikorodu.
She obtained a Higher National Diploma degree at the Polytechnic, Ibadan where she majored in Music Technology.
Sola Allyson began as a backup singer at the age of 13. She came through professionally while working as backup singer for top music artistes like Yinka Ayefele, Pasuma, Obesere and so on.
Allyson eventually became known for her hit album “Eji Ewuro” in 2003. Prior to fame, she was doing soundtrack for Yoruba movies. She has release other albums which include Ire, Adun, Imuse and many others.

Allyson won Special Recognition awards in the 2018 City People Music Awards and was nominated for the Best Indigenous concept in the 2013 at the Nigeria Music Video Awards (NMVA).
