Born Ryan Johnston on February 14, 1992, is a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman who plays for Mora IK of the Swedish Hockey League (SHL).
Johnston has a sister named Rebecca, a member of the Canada women’s national ice hockey team and a two time Olympic gold winner.
His uncle, Mike Johnston was the head coach of the Pittsburgh Penguin s in the 2014-15 and part of the 2015-16 seasons and an assistant coach with the Vancouver Canucks and the Los Angeles Kings.
