Paxten Aaronson was born Paxten Reid Aaronson on August 26, 2003, in New Jersey, United States. He has a younger brother named Brenden Aaronson, who also plays for the English club side Leeds United.
Career
Paxten Aaronson began his football career at the youth level with Philadelphia Union. He was later called up to the Philadelphia Union II, the Philadelphia Union reserve team in USL Championship, after five seasons with the academy. He made his debut for the club in a match against New York Red Bulls II, on July 22, 2020, where he came on as a substitute for Steve Kingue.
He signed a contract with the first team in August 2020, and made his first team debut in a 3-0 victory against Portland Timbers.
Paxten is set to sign a five-year deal with Eintracht Frankfurt in November 2022.
He was called up for the United States national under-20 team in June 2022, where he scored seven goals in seven games at the 2022 CONCACAF U-20Â Championship, which also earned him both the Golden Ball and Golden Boot Awards at the tournament.
