Early Life
Noni Madueke was born Chukwunonso Tristan Madueke on March 10, 2002, in Barnet, England. He is originally of Nigerian Igbo descent. He moved to the small village of Wintelre with his mother after signing for PSV.
Career
Noni Madueke began his football career at the youth level with Crystal Palace after joining the club at the age of nine. He also played for the Tottenham Hotspur youth academy at the age of 15.
He signed a three-year contract with the Dutch club PSV in June 2018. He made his senior debut for the club in a 1-1 draw against VVV-Venlo, in January 2020. He scored for the club in a 2-2 victory against Emmen on September 19, 2020. He also scored twice in a 4-0 victory against Ajax on August 7, 2021. He eventually signed a new contract with PSV to stay at the club until 2025, on August 26, 2021, while also being given the number 10 Jersey.
Madueke joined the English club Chelsea on a seven-and-a-half year contract for a report3d transfer fee of €33 million, on January 20, 2023.
On the international level, Madueke represented England at the youth level. He scored twice in a qualifier against Denmark under-17, and was also part of the squad for 2019 UEFA European Under-17 Championship.
He made his under-18 debut in a 3-2 victory against Australia, where he came on as a substitute at the 70th minute, on September 6, 2019. He scored in a 2-0 win over Sputh Korea.
He was called up for the England U21 squad for 2021 UEFA European Under-21 Championship on March 15, 2021. He made his debut 2-0 defeat to Portugal on March 28, 2021.
