Natalie Dormer was born on February 11, 1982 in Reading, Berkshire in England to parents, Gary Dormer and Claire Richards. She has two siblings, Samantha Dormer and Mark Dormer.
Natalie is of Norwegian and Welsh heritage. She went to Chiltern Edge secondary school and proceeded to Reading Blue Coat School. She was offered a place to study history at the University of Cambridge but chose to audition for drama schools, training at the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art in London.
