Early Life
Mmatema Moremi was born on February 22, 1992 in Limpopo, South Africa to parents; Disego Moremi and Lucky Moraila.
Moremi had a good basic education background and later pursue a bachelors in technology at Tshwane University of Technology. Upon graduation, she joined the Reflex Raise Choir group and later left the group and became part of the Tshwane Gospel Choir group.
Career
Other than being a singer, Tshepo has also worked in several places such as SuperSport International and Premier League Productions.
One of the best highlight of her career was being the first African to host a FIFA Ballon d’Or in Zurich.
Her music career was never supported by her family and the music thing all started after she left her parent house.
She began her music journey by auditioning for the 9th season of the South African Idols of which she was not accepted. She gave another try in 2015 and boom she was already at the top with one amazing performance. She did a cover of Demi Lovato’s song “Skyscraper” and she absolutely stunned the judges witg her performance.
She eventually lost out in the finals to the singer Karabo Mogane.
Ever since Moremi rose to fame, she has continued to thrill music lovers with every song released.
