Maryam Ado Muhammed popularly known as Maryam Booth is a Kannywood actress, model and fashion designer born on October 28, 1993.
She’s originally from Kano state, northern part of Nigeria. Her mother, Zainab Booth is a veteran actress while her brother Ahmed Booth is also an actor.
Maryam is of mixed heritage, her grandmother is fulani while her grandfather is Scottish.
Maryam Booth attended Ebony Nursery and Primary school and Ahmadiyya secondary school for her primary and secondary education respectively.
Maryam started acting at the age of 8 as she was introduced into the industry by her aunt, Bello Mohammed. She came to limelight with her role in the film ‘Dijangala’.
She has also starred in numerous movies such as Alawiyya, Ankwa, Bani Adam, Dare, Baya, Halisa, Garin Gaka, Mai Lita and many others.
Maryam once dated a guy for five years but his family objected to their marriage with the excuse that their son can’t marry an actress, as as then she was only 18 years old. She’s now single and had revealed her kind of man as honest and romantic.
Asides acting, Maryam Booth is the CEO of Mbooths Beauty Parlour, a makeup artiste, fashion designer and accessories dealer.
