Maria Becerra was born Maria de los Angeles Becerra on February 12, 2000 in Quilmes, Buernos Aires, Argentina.
Career
Becerra started music at the age of 12 and has been able to develop her passion with musical influences from the likes of Whitney Houston, Ariana Grande, Natti Natasha and Amy Winehouse.
She came through professionally with the release of her EP “222” in September 2019. The project is a fusion of urban pop and hip hop. She followed up with the release of the single “High” in November of the same year. She also released a remix featuring the Argentine singer Tini and Spanish singer Lola Indigo.
She made lots of features in different remixes in 2021 and 2022 which include: “En Tu Cuerpo” with Lyanno, Rauw Alejandro and Lenny Tavarez, “AYNEA” with FMK and Beret.
She became the first Latin artist to be signed to the indie record label 300 Entertainment in 2020. She released her second EP, Animnal, Pt. 1, in 2021. The EP include the Cazzu-assisted “Animal” and the solo “Acaramelao”. The project also comprises multiple genres of music from trap, hip-hop, and R&B to reggaeton.

Becerra is a vegan and also revealed in an interview that she is bisexual.
She was in a relationship with the Argentine singer Rusherking in 2019 and parted ways in 2021.
