Luyolo Yiba (born October 29,1995) well known as Lu-yolo, is a South African singer and songwriter. He came to prominence after emerging winner of the music competition idols in South Africa in 2019. He also featured in the South African television series, Generations.

Early Life
Luyolo Yiba was born October 29, 1995 in Eastern Cape, South Africa.
He had his primary and secondary school education in King Williams Town and also obtained a degree in Information Technology from Walter Sisulu University.
Career
Lu-yolo came through after he emerged as the winner for the 2019 music idol South Africa (the 15th edition).
His top notch performances most especially his rendition of a John Legend’s song in his final performance, thrilled the fans. As the winner, he went away with a prize package of Rs1 million in cash, a record deal with Gallo and other exciting prizes.
