Kalsoume Sinare is a famous Ghanaian actress, movie producer, former model and director known for ‘Sala’.

Kalsoume was born on April 27 and she is the first child in a family of nine children, that means she has other five girls and three boys as siblings born to her parents, Alhaji Adam Said Sinare and Zainab Sinare.

She attended South Labadi Experimental school, St Michael’s international school in Osu and Accra High schools before her acting and modelling career.

She particiapated in miss Ghana contest in 1989 where she was the runner-up and also represented Ghana in Miss World contest in Taiwan and won miss model of Africa. She is also a former miss 2nd image and Peacock

She’s beautiful, bold and talented and has been recognised for her roles and impact in the movie industry.

Kalsoume Sinare started her acting career during the days of Nkrabea Effah Dartey’s Theatre Mirros first movie was Kofi Ouwu’s “Out of sight” in 1993 directed by Tom Robeiro.

She has has starred in a number of movies including; Her Excellency, Princess Tyra, Mummy’s daughter and “Lost desire” alongside Kanayo O Kanayo and Jackie Appiah.

Asides acting, she also have other businesses including a salon in south-labid, “Farikals”, where many celebrities do patronise.

Kalsoume Sinare got married to Anthony Baffoe in 1994 and their union is blessed with two sons and a daughter.

Her husband, Anthony Baffoe is a former player of the Ghanaian senior national team and the Puma consultant and ambassador for West Africa. He is also into sports management and sports consultancy.
