Jorge Garcia (born April 28, 1973) is a popular American actor and stans up comedian. He came to prominence for his performance as Hector Lopez on the TV show Becker and also gained more exposure for his protrayal of Hugo ‘Hurley’ Reyes in the TV series Lost.

Early Life
Jorge Garcia was born on April 28, 1973 in Nebraska, United States. He was raised in San Juan Capistrano in Orange County, California, where he attended San Clemente High School. His father, Humberto Garcia, is a Chilean-born doctor while his mother, Dora Mesa, is a Cuban-born professor.
He obtained a degree in Communication Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles. He also studied Acting at the Beverly Hills Playhouse acting School.
Career
Prior to acting, Jorge worked at Borders Books and Music. He began his acting career with roles in television and came to prominence for his role as Hugo Reyes in the television series “Lost”.
He appeared in the second episode of the eight season of Celebrity Poker Showdown and was also a contestant on an episode of Russian Roulette on Game show network.
Garcia has starred in numerous television series and films alike such as; Fox televison series, Alcatraz, ABC’s Once Upon a Time, as Jerry Ortega on Hawaii Five-O, The Ridiculous 6 and many others.

Garcia got married to his wife, Rebecca Birdsall on June 22, 2019. Rebecca isbalso an actress who appeared as Marilyn Monroe in Maggie.
