He is well known foe co-writing top songs like Jordin Sparks ” No Air” and Ciara’s “Love sex magic”. James Fauntleroy was born on May 16, 1984 in Inglewood, California and based in Los Angeles.
Fauntleroy began as a member of the production group The Underdogs and later joined the Y’s.
He wrote five tracks from Chris Brown’s second album “Exclusive” in 2007 and in 2009, he co-wrote six tracks from Rihanna’s fourth album “Rated R”.
He provided vocal assistance for five songs on Common’s The Dreamer/The Believer album in 2011 and gave out his vocals on Kanye West’s G.O.O.D music collaborative album, Cruel Summer in 2012. He also got featured on Timbaland’s 2013 single “Know Bout Me”.
He co-wrote Justin Timberlake’s song “Pusher love girl” in 2014 and also co-wrote most of the song on the album.
In April 2021, he got featured on the top charting single “Sorry Not Sorry” by DJ Khaled featuring Jay Z and Nas.
