Early Life
Ivana Alawi was born Mariam Sayed Sameer Marbella Al-Alawi on December 25, 1996, in Philippines. She grew up in Bahrain with her other siblings, two sisters namely, Mona Louise Rey, Amira Alawi, and a brother named Hashim Alawi. She is the third child in a family of four children. She is of mixed ethnicity as her father, Samier Al-Alawi is from Morocco and her mother, Fatima Marbella, a Filipino.

Alawi showed up on the 6th season of GMA-7’s StarStruck. She emerged as one of the top 22 contestants and was later signed by GMA Artist Center.
She starred as Rina in ABS-CBN’s Precious Hearts Romances Presents: Araw Girl, and also followed up as Amor in Ang Probinsyano.
She made her film debut with Open and was also featured in the Metro Manila Film Festival entry 3pol Trobol: Huli Ka Balbon!. She made appearance as Lolita in Sino ang Maysala?: Mea Culpa.
She started her YouTube channel in 2019 and already boast of over 16 million subscribers. She also featured on the Playboy magazine.
